Summer 2015 Make-up Trends

Our guide to the hottest Summer Makeup Trends for 2015 using cruelty-free and vegan cosmetics
It’s been a while since we last posted on the blog, but never fear we are back with some top tips on this Summer’s key beauty trends.  With the sun finally splitting the sky it’s time to re-evaluate your cruelty free cosmetics bag.

The first of this summers trends is all about simply natural beauty.  The “no-makeup” makeup should see your skin glowing like your just returned from a well earned holiday.

The use of cruelty free bronzers such as theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer, vegan blushers from Neve Cosmetics and LunatiCK Labs, and organic   are great for adding definition to achieve an effortless glow.  Use them to define cheekbones or illuminate the eyes by applying a little to the corner of your eye.

Don’t discard that mascara, big lashes are bang on trend, layer them up with Neve Cosmetics Occhioni Natural Black Mascara to create a statement and frame your eyes.

You can stop flicking those eye liner pencil’s. Cats eyes are on their way out being replaced with simpler eyeliner from the centre of the top and bottom lash line out to a point at the corner, use or to create the effect.

A great alternative though when your looking for a splash of colour is to turn to a lavender eyeshadow, such as   or if your feeling adventurous try a darker charcoal eyeshadow from Neve Cosmetics New York Eyeshadow range.

Finally, our favourite item in our cosmetics bag lipsticks and lipglosses.  You won’t be disappointed to hear that bright shades are rocking this summer, we love a bit of colour.  Reds, berries and bight lips are back. Matte, glossy, bold or smooth a red lipstick can refresh your look immediately.  Try using a lip pencil like to apply a slightly lighter shade around the edge of your lips and blend in with a darker tone from towards the centre to create a gorgeous look.

What do you think to this years summer trends? What are you looking forward to trying?  Let us know.
